Good Morning, hopefully everyone had a great family weekend. This week I wanted to quickly discuss the importance of family portraits, especially in the world of technology we live in now. Remember going over to your grandparent's house and seeing the family photographs on the wall or on the fireplace mantel and how great is was to see what your relatives looked like 25 years ago and the type of life they had?

With all of the cameras and camera phones we have available to us today, as well as social media, there is a definite influx of photographs. The social pressure to take photos are share them is rising but what about the images for you? The ones that will go on the wall and be a reference for future generations? It is so important to take the time to capture those family portraits so they can be shared and passed down to future generations for their enjoyment and education. 

The photograph featured below is one of my favorite sessions I've done. The family was on vacation with three generations, the grandparents hadn't seen each other since their children's wedding! I am so honored that they asked me to have been apart of such a special time in their lives and to provide them with beautiful portraits they can cherish and that the little boy will always have of his family together.
