Welcome to another Saturday!

I've been waiting all week to share the very exciting news that Here in Hanover released their Summer 2015 Issue and not only did it have two wonderful articles that featured my photographs but they also selected one to be the COVER of the magazine!!! With this being my first cover and I couldn't be more thrilled; let me tell you a little bit about the articles and let you take a look for yourself.

The first article, the one which they selected the cover photo from, is about farmer's markets in the Hanover area. Living in the Upper Valley we have such a beautiful network of local, organic farms that come together at various markets to support each other and the community. There are dozens of these markets around, from which the magazine selected three of the larger ones- located in Lebanon, Hanover, and Norwich, New Hampshire. It was a great experience for me, some of the markets I had been to before while others I went to as a first-timer. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly- often there were vendors that attended multiple markets and by the end we had formed a great sense of familiarity.

The second article I was able to be a part of was about a little studio with a great purpose. Long River Studios can be found just off the green in Lyme, New Hampshire. There have a little shop that allows a place for local artists and craftsmen to sell their work. Much like the farmer's market's variety of produce, baked goods, and crafts Long River Studios shows the great diversity of talents that exists in the region; having everything ranging from pottery and sculpture to painting and jewelry. I left there inspired by the beauty and craftsmanship, as well as knowing where I was going to be doing my future shopping for birthdays and holidays!

Thank you for taking a few minutes to see the exciting things going on right now with CPerry Photography and I hope you will be inspired to go to your local farmer's market or stop into an artist's co-op. New week we will be talking about family portraits and why they are so important, now more than ever.
